Tom Lambros truly is living the American Dream. Born in a small town in Peloponise, Southern Greece, Tom immigrated to the United States in 1967. As a young man new to the American way of life, Tom started his career washing dishes in local restaurants in New York. At the tender age of 24, Tom opened his first restaurant in New York, learning as went along how to become a premier restauranteer.

In 1980, Tom proudly built his first diner and opened it in the heart of New York City. There were many chanllenges along the way, but with his dedication to superior service, Tom made his first diner a great success.

On a trip to Atlanta, Tom and his family decided that they would make Atlanta their home. In 1992, he sold his diner in New York and relocated his family to start yet another new life in Atlanta, GA. After looking at numerous properties. Tom found the perfect location on Roswell Road, were he successfully opened his first Landmark Diner. In its 11th year, the Landmark Diner continues to draw Atlantans and tourist alike, for the great food, service, and atmosphere.

In the process of opening his sixth diner planned for Cheshire Bridge Road, Tom has definetly left his mark on Atlanta. This very humble man, believes that honesty and integrity are your best characteristics. When combined with a natural ability to treat people right, you can understand why Tom Lambros is as successful and well-liked in this community.

Tom has married to his wife Carolyn since 1980, and is very proud of his three children, son Nick, a graduate of Georgia Southern with in BA in business finance, who Tom refers to as his best friend; daughter Anastacia, who will graduate from Emory University in May; and daughter Irena, who is a first year student at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
